"I consider exercise vulgar. It makes people smell." -- Alec Yuill Thornton

425--Florida: All you need is love on Valentine's Day
@ CherieSpotting     Feb 14 2009 - 15:51 PST
cherie writes: I met Greg in 2001 at a crew party for a sailing race (the Baja Ha-Ha.) I wanted to be crew on a boat so I could get a “free vacation to Mexico” with my best-friend Jean.

When I met Greg it was instant chemistry, but Greg said his boat (Scirocco) was full (with 6 people aboard.) I explained my philosophy of “the more the merrier” and Greg would have none of it. The first day I met Greg I boldly told him:
“I’ll be on your boat; you just don’t know it yet.”

Luckily I got a position on a 53-ft Swan (Mistress) and Greg and I fell in love a month later in Mazatlan. I moved on Greg’s boat and we sailed down the coast of Mexico, to Panama, to the Caribbean where we broke up, got back together, sailed to the Florida Keys, traveled through Europe, sailed again in places from Alaska to Mexico, and traveled across the United States. Last night Greg and I met “Cupid” in Key West, Florida. We told Cupid to save his arrow—we’re already in love.
