This year we spent our family vacation camping along the shores of San Simeon in Central California. We raced bikes down lonely isolated roads, splashed in the ocean’s refreshing waves and told stories over a smoldering campfire. But of all the silly activities we did, just being together was the most fun. (Yes, Kylie touched the squirrel!) Chloe and Tanner. Watching the squirrel, a mesmerizing experience. Some say it's just a rodent with a fluffy tail. If you feed them very slowly, they won't bite off your hands. Kylie and Greg arrive with another bag of peanuts. The nutty critters take the food right out of your hand. At 3-years old, Kylie is only a novice squirrel-catcher. The whole family joins in for snack time. Did he brush his teeth this morning? Teaching squirrels to do tricks.
