But don't come here before you get married...you are liable to get cold feet. Our gang saddles up to the "coolest" bar in town--Minus 5. The Swedish girls think "Minus 5" is warm! Hugh, the Irishman. Vodka...on ice. The bar is surrounded by ice-sculptures. The gang in our parkas. (It's colder in the bar than outside!) The bartender mixes another Vodka cocktail. People put on jackets (and hats, gloves & shoes) to come into this bar. An ice-kiss. Don't get your tongue stuck! A word to the wise: don't sit on the unicorn ice-sculpture. Looks like we need another round of Vodka to keep warm! Hugh takes a seat on the ice-throne. What's going on here? The ice-man cometh? A jug frozen in time. Ever been in a bar where absolutely everything is made out of ice. And Absolute is the only alcohol behind the bar? Welcome to Minus 5! Cherie and Hugh. One more round and who knows what these crazy folks will do with the ice sculptures! Ever sucked on an ice-witches nose? You have to sit on animal hides or you'd slip right off the bench! Cherie and the Swedish girls (they like meatballs.) If the bar isn't cold enough...how about some indoor skiing? My first time skiing indoors at Snow Planet near Auckland, New Zealand. Hugh's first time on the indoor ski-lift. Once again the tempurature inside Snow Planet is "Minus 5." This is the first time Hugh has been snow skiing and not broken any bones! The clan finds themselves at another bar in Auckland. Swedish girl sandwich. Surrounded by brew. The boys! The girls. Smile! There are bars that are open 24 hours a day in New Zealand. (Don't ask how I know this.)
