165--California: Snow Skiing in Big Bear
@ CherieSpotting     Dec 23 2003 - 14:02 PST
cherie writes: Snow in California?

It may be warm at the beach, but there is snow on the mountains. Jean and I (and a bunch of girlfriends) headed to Snow Summit (Big Bear) for a weekend of skiing. We had to celebrate Jean's birthday (December 23rd!) We packed a cabin full of girls (and enough snow gear to clothe all of Slovakia) and spent the weekend laughing, skiing--and sometimes falling!

Los Angeles may be one of the only places in the world where you can walk along the sandy beach in the morning, and then ski down a snowpacked mountain in the afternoon!!! Here are some quick shots of our fun in the sun!
