I was aboard Mistress, a 53 Swan Captained by Ray LaFleur. We just came to have fun, but we ended up in 6th place! I can't think of a better way to spend a Wednesday night! You have to watch out for cars...even on the water. The gang on the bay. 107 boats all shapes and sizes race ever Wednesday. Some come to race, while others come just to have fun! It's all fun until the race starts, then it is serious business. Time to fly the kite! The spinnaker/sun-shade. Sailing brings out the smiles in everyone. Flying wing on wing. Brothers Bill and Ray have another great day on the water. Would it be a beer can race without beer? Sailing is both work and fun! A new way to "meet the neighbors." Looks like our boats wanted to get to know each other a bit better. The only casualty--Claudia's torn jeans. But hey...there's another use for sailing tape! Luis gives his wife Claudia a first class ride off the dock.
