"Mistress" had a lot of ammentities that "Stars and Stripes" was lacking, namely an engine. We outperformed the world class race boat and had a beautiful day sailing in the sun. Just kidding, it was actually quite a gloomy day (weather-wise,) but the smiles of the crew on the Mistress brightened everything up! To brighten things up even further, I "colored" some of the dreary gray sky blue. (I'm just learning how to use Photo Shop!) It is amazing that nowadays, you are able to preserve memories the way you wished they could have been. In this case, I made a few of the pictures "sunny!" These days, seeing isn't believing. Stan on the bow. Stars and Stripes. Tom's Mistress goes to battle with a...battleship! Sailors have to quench a hearty thirst! Dad behind the wheel. Sailing is the sport for those who love to lean. Chuck, Cherie, Dustin, Stan, Claudia and Tom. Two UK Sail fans! Down the hatch. (Is he an Admiral?) Where's the jacuzzi? Lean into the turn! It is impossible to sail by seals without mimicking the seal sound. Chuck and Stan. Tom and Dustin, hamming it up! Even if the weather didn't cooperate, it was a beautiful day on the water. (I just painted the sky blue to show how it was in my mind!) You couldn't tear Stan away from the helm. Now there is a true sailor at heart! "Stars and Stripes" being dragged out for a day sail. Being towed by a dinghy is the price you have to pay for not having an engine!
